What is meant by essences? Essences (from the Latin “essentia”) are defined as alcoholic extracts, distillates of spices or other aromatic parts of plants. Using special procedures our company has been successfully performing for many years, the extracts, macerates, distillates, etc. obtained from these natural products are put together by our experts to create different taste types needed for a huge variety of finished products. We are happy to send you our comprehensive price list and our team of first-class professionals and our modern laboratories are available in case of need. The essences and flavours can be provided in 1 litre bottles and 5, 10 and 20 canisters as required. If you want to come to us to collect your goods, please allow a filling time of 24 hours for bottling. So please just call us briefly to place your order. This will allow us to prepare everything for you and serve you as quickly as possible.

Essences for making spirits

Want to give your brandy, rum, or liqueur an exquisite finishing touch? Then our essences are just what you’re looking for. We have been putting together ideal finishing touches from distillates, extracts, and flavours for decades. Our comprehensive range includes, among many other varieties, essences for:

The approximate dosage is on average 1 litreof essence per 100 litres of spirit. The exact dosing recommendations can be always found on the label. We recommend starting with less and increasing the dosage in small steps after tasting if necessary.

Stella liqueur blends

Sweet wine and fruits The Stella liqueur blends are a traditional product of the Wurth family and we have been making them carefully for about 80 years. We often receive requests from all over the world to send the little bottles to add the finishing touch to liqueurs. Here is an overview of the varieties available:

  • Glow-worm
  • Inländer Rum
  • Kaiserbirn pear liqueur
  • Kirsch with Inländer rum
  • Caraway

Dosage: 10 ml (1 vial) per 1 litre of liqueur The standard 10 ml vials are available in small boxes of 10. For larger orders, we are happy to provide the liqueur blends in bottles or cans for you as well!

Natural extracts

With decades of experience, we produce natural extracts by preserving high-quality raw materials in alcohol or other solvents. These are suitable for many uses, especially for making punch and spirits. Here is a small selection:

Flavourings

frucht-aroma Flavourings provide the most intense flavour at the lowest dose. We offer many flavourings in various grades. If you are looking for something that is not included in the price list, we can also provide many more flavourings from a certain minimum amount.

Alcohol

You can order pure alcohol or ethanol with approximately 96.3% vol. for making spirits from us in 10 or 20 litre canisters.
